District Faces 17% Premium Increase

District Avoids Massive Employee Premium Increase


Recently, a school district with 160 full time employees was facing a 17% total premium rate increase. Employees were paying $100 dollars per month, and the school district was paying $735 dollars per month, totaling $835. The district obtained traditional quotes, and not one carrier was willing to beat the proposed increased pricing. If this district didn’t sign with NACRF, each employee’s monthly contribution would have soared from $100 to $242 per month.
